In Time for a story, you read about Ötzi, the 5000-year-old ice mummy. That means researchers were able to examine his belongings and clothes. He carried a bow and a doeskin quiver containing half-finished arrows. The quiver could be closed with a leather flap.

Ötzi lived in a farmer's settlement

Ötzi was a hunter, but people were not just hunter-gatherers in his time. But the most interesting tool that Ötzi carried is his sturdy copper axe. Hunter-gatherers did not have these skills, because they were always busy finding food.

Ötzi comes from an agrarian society that kept goats and cows, and which may have grown crops as well.
