What is cohesion?

Aims

At the end of today's class you are able to correctly apply at least 5 different linking words in a written story.

Find linking words that you'd like to use in writing and in speaking and post them here.

How would you make communication more cohesive?

Work!

Write a small story about your life, use 3 paragraphs. (This story does not need to be true if you are not comfortable with that!)

Show and tell

1. Partner up

2. Show your partner your story and tell them where you've put your linking words. 

3. Give eachother feedback (1 point of improvement, 1 point of excellence, and 1 point of future change)

4. Tip: Use linking words when talking to structure your ideas
