Tijden met een vast schema; school, trein etc.

Iets dat gaat gebeuren, en al gepland is. Het is dus al geregeld en/of voorbereid.

To be about to

(to be + about to + hele ww)

Wanneer?

het betekent 'op het punt staan te'. Je gebruikt deze constructie wanneer iets elk ogenblik kan gebeuren.

 

1. He is about to lose his last penny.
2. They are about to close the pub.  

Gebruik dit schema als je er niet uit komt!

Let op! In dit schema zit 'to be about to' niet verwerkt! Deze kan je nog toevoegen op dezelfde manier.

Wanneer?

Je 'verschuift' de present perfect  naar de toekomst.

1. nadruk op resultaat wat er te zien is.

- eerder begonnen en gaat door tot een ander moment in de toekomst.

 

1. I hope I will have finished this job on Friday afternoon.

2. My parents have been married for twenty years today.

Next Tuesday my parents will have been married for 20 years.

Future Perfect Continuous

Wanneer?

Je 'verschuift' de present perfect  Continuous  naar de toekomst.

1. Als je de activiteit/tijdsduur daarvan wilt benadrukken.

1. Next August, I will have been writing books for 10 years.
