My experience

In Spring Break 2023 my brothers and I traveled to Albania. There we rented a car and started our road trip through the South of Albania. The roads in Albania have holes and some roads are even unpaved. At one point my brothers and I got lost on a unpaved road. We were afraid and stressed, but luckily a local came to help us. Communicating with him was hard, since he did not speak English. He turned our car for us and we drove back from where we came and never entered an unpaved road again.

My opinion

Albania is a great country to travel to, because it is cheap, small and has the most beautiful nature I have ever seen. On the other side, it can be quite dangerous because navigation is not updated and you can end up on a dirt road and I have never felt so stressed in my life. You have to be a confident driver to go to Albania. All in all, it is definitely worth it. We had an amazing time and in my opinion everyone should see beautiful Albania.
