How should you report an unplanned absence of your child?

1. Call the school first thing in the morning.
2. Use the attendance function in Managebac.
3. Email reception ([e-mail])
4. Do nothing. The school will figure it out.

Strike 1 = documented warning

Strike 2 = Detention 9th hour (informal meeting student + mentor)

Strike 3 = Formal meeting (student, mentor, parents, and Ms. Stark)

Promotion to DP

The promotion criteria from MYP5 to DP can be found in the Secondary Parent Handbook. 

Normally, students who will not be promoted are informed of this well ahead of the end of the school year.
