Slide 4 - Diapositive

What can we find in an electrical circuit?

Slide 5 - Carte mentale

What does it actually look like?
  • For a circuit to work, it needs to be closed using conductors.
  • Once it is closed, 'something' starts moving through the wires. This 'something' is called charge.
  • The amount of charge that flows through the wires is called the electrical current.
  • The electrical current can be measured in Ampere (A) (often 'amps' is used)

Slide 6 - Diapositive

The ammeter
We can measure this electrical
current using an ammeter.

You can say:
'A current of 0.2A is running
through a light bulb.'
