Present Continuous

• Als je wilt zeggen dat iets bezig is op het moment dat je erover praat of schrijft.
• am, are of is + werkwoord + -ing
• am working, are walking, is reading

Present Continuous: vragen 

• Bij vragen komt am, is, of are voor het onderwerp te staan.
• Lijkt op het Nederlans:
• Hij is aan het werken. - Is hij aan het werken?
• He is working. - Is he working?

Present Continuous: negatief

• In ontkenningen voeg je nog (of de verkorte vorm n't) toe aan am, is of are.
• He is walking on the pavement.
• He is not walking on the pavement.
• He isn't walking on the pavement. 

She __________ (to work) at home today.

They _________ (to have) lunch at the moment.

I _________ (to call) him right now.
