There are many mucous membranes in your nose and trachea. These moisten the air, filter the air and thus produce mucus. How do you notice this?

Alveoli

Your alveolis are a essential part of the respiratory system, as they transport oxygen into your blood vessels. This can happen because both the alveolis and lung capillaries are just one cell thick. 

“You inhale air. Air travels from your nose to the depths of your lungs. Below you see several parts of the respiratory system. Put them in the correct order starting with your nose.”

Nasal cavity - Windpipe - Larynx - Bronchioles - Bronchi - Alveoli

Jip has a bad cold. She is not able to breathe through her nose, so she has to breathe through her mouth. Breathing through her mouth has several disadvantages. Why is it better to breathe through your nose? Write down three reasons
