Yesterday I attended a birthday party.

Britain (Groot-Brittannië) has some really weird laws (wetten). Some of them still exist and haven't changed throughout the centuries. A lot of people have forgotten them, but one person decided to have some fun with them and break them in modern-day Britain. We're going to watch a video!

Comparing things...

I am taller than my sister.

My brother is the tallest of us three. 

My father's car is more expensive than my brother's car. 

But our uncle's car is the most expensive of the three. 

You also learned to form the comparative form (vergelijkende vorm) and superlative form (overtreffende trap) last year. If you don't want to listen to the recap: you can leave the lessonup and

Krijg je bij een vergelijking - er than

Bij de overtreffende trap (de grootste, kleinste, domste)

Gebruik je: 'the' + het bijv. naamw. + est 

1. That tiny actor is the shortest person I've ever seen! 

2. My uncle, who's 1.93 meter is the tallest in our family. 

3.  The biggest school building I've seen so far is located in NY. 

Let op woorden die op een 'y' eindigen en die je in twee lettergrepen kunt opdelen (stukken kunt ophakken)

3. easy  - easier than - the easiest.
