Students will practice identifying and summarizing the main points of a documentary.

Students will be able to recall important facts, events, and ideas presented in the documentary.

Students will practice articulating their thoughts and opinions based on documentary content in group discussions and debates.

Instruction

You will all, individually, watch a documentary from BBC World Services about a current issue. You will take notes while watching and answer some questions afterwards.

Once finished, you will discuss your opinion about the video, based on a debating statement, with your classmate in 3 minutes. 

You will write a short summary about your discussion.
