What are Quantifiers?
Quantifiers are words used to express quantity or amount. Examples include all, both, either, neither, each, every and no.

Example:

  • Je gebruikt 'every' als je het hebt over drie of meer mensen, dieren, dingen en om nadruk te leggen op elke individueel in een groep. Na every wordt enkelvoud gebruikt.
Example: 
  • Every professional footballer has a strict diet.
  • There was police on every corner.

  • Je gebruikt 'all' als je het hebt over een hele groep en de nadruk ook ligt op de groep en niet alle individuele leden. Na "all" komt er een meervoud
Example:

  • Susan has all collector items of Star Trek
