Meervoud!  Plural!

Woorden die in mv op -s eindigen:

rabbit ---> rabbits

ball ---> balls

frog ---> frogs

biscuit ---> biscuits

Woorden die op - es eindingen...

...... omdat het woord eindigt op een sis-klank

glass ---> glasses

toothbrush ---> toothbrushes

box ---> boxes

lunch ---> lunches

match ---> matches

Meeste woorden die op  "o"....

.....eindigen krijgen nog een ES erachter.

tomato ---> tomatoes

potato ---> potatoes

tornado ---> tornadoes

mosquito ---> mosquitoes 

Woorden die eindigen op een medeklinklinker +  "y"...

krijgen in de meervoud IES.

city ----> cities

hobby ---> hobbies

party ---> parties

lady  ---> ladies

puppy ---> puppies

baby ---> babies

Woorden die eindigen op -f of -fe vervang je vaak door ves op het einde.

wolf  ---->  wolves

knife ---> knives

leaf ----> leaves

calf ---> calves

There are exceptions (=uitzonderingen)!

For example:

- man  --> men

- woman --> women

- mouse --> mice

- child --> children

foot --> feet 

tooth --> teeth 

person --> people

fish --> fish  (verandert niet!)

sheep --> sheep    (verandert niet!)
