• You work in groups of 6 to write a story about a river in The Netherlands

• The story should focus on 6 friends from different parts of the world embarking on an adventure down the river on a raft made of plastic bottles

• The goal of the journey is to raise awareness about environmental issues affecting the river of choice

• You should incorporate research on environmental issues, including human impact (pollution, industrialization) on the river and its inhabitants

• Each of you has a role in the story and contributes to the writing process

• The story should have a clear plot with a beginning, middle, and end, with character development and conflict

• At the end of the lesson, each group will present their story to the class
