Sons are a heritage from the LORD, children a reward from him.

Diaspora

History of Judaism 

1. Diaspora = the dispersion of the Jews after the destruction of the tempel in 70 CE
2. Ashkenazim = Ashkenazi jews = jews from Eastern Europe 
3. Sephardim - Sephardic jews = jews from  Spain/Portugal

Middle Ages

• Special clothing
• Not allowed to enter guilds - liberal professions
• "Murderers of Christ" - progroms
• Tolerated: because first people of God.
