Lucius
Lucius is the middle son in a Roman family. His family has enough funds to make sure that he is well provided for, but he could advance through marriage. He is currently residing near his workplace, in downtown Pompeii.

Find out: 
Lucius is working at a construction site / at the brickyard. 
Lucius is marrying for love / for money.
Marcus
Marcus is the eldest son in a middle class Roman family. Marcus has a wife and two sons. They live west to Pompeii, in Herculaneum. 

Find out: 
Marcus is a master craftsman / an assistant to a master craftsman. 
There will always be work for craftsmen / builders in Pompeii. 
Fabia
Fabia is the youngest member of a middle class Roman family. Her family has enough funds to make sure that Fabia is well provided for. She is married and lives with her husband and children at the southern edge of Pompeii. 

Find out: 
Fabia is bringing offerings to the temple downtown/ outside the city gate. 
Fabia is buying food / offerings at the market downtown.
