Slide 1 - Diapositive

A: §8.2 Grouping data
B: §10.2 Altitude
An introduction for B follows now!
(Math A pupils, please follow this too.
It only takes a few slides and then I've got an introduction to your paragraph!)

Slide 2 - Diapositive

So the subject for today is: the ALTITUDE (=hoogtelijn).
Of course the Challenge path is your learning path!

Slide 3 - Diapositive

Slide 4 - Diapositive

As you can see in the previous picture:
+ an altitude (=hoogtelijn) is used to measure the distance from a vertex to the opposite side
+ an altitude can be outside the triangle!

Slide 5 - Diapositive

As you see in the Solution of 12a, you need:
+ a pencil
+ a geo triangle (straight lines, angle of 40 degrees)
+ a pair of compasses
+ forgetting these things is impossible now, because you are at home!!

Slide 6 - Diapositive

Here you see the Solution of 14c (p.71 Solutionsbook 3B)
Question: What Basic Rules for Angles  are used here?
