What is PTSD?
*This lesson is about the effect of war on the brain.

*A lot of veterans are diagnosed with PTSD after war, but what does this mean?

*Lets talk about it.

*What do you think the song "19" could be about?

*We are going to listen to the song: "19" by Paul Hardcastle.

*I want you to listen carefully.

*Imagine:

 You are sent off to fight for your country in a foreign land. All around you is terror and you experience traumatic things. Do you think life would ever go back to the way it was once you’ve returned home?

Assignment 2: Change the lyrics
*Now, I want to you change the lyrics to the song, don't worry, you do not have to change the whole song.

*I want you to work in pairs, so you can help each other and have 2 brains working on this assignment.

-I want you to change at least 5 sentences.

-The sentences have to have something to do with the Vietnam war or the aftermath of the war.
