  • The 5 senses and to be, appear and seem
  • This burger tastes amazing.
  • Here the noun and adjective are split by the word tastes.

  • You AD it to a VERB

With some verbs  you don't use an adverb but an adjective. 
to be (zijn), to seem , to feel , to smell , 
to sound , to taste, to look

Het ruikt vreselijk. - It smells terrible.

Exceptions for adverbs
Be careful!!

Some adjectives have a different adverb:
He is a good boy. - He studies well.

Sometimes it stays the same:
Bij fast, long, fair, low, high
That is a fast car. - It drives fast
