Question tags: what are they?
Question tags are added to a sentence. We use them to ask for things, agreement or new information. 

E.g.: You are William, aren't you?

We make the tag by paying attention to a few things in the sentence: 

1. Is the sentence negative < > positive? 
E.g.: You haven't seen this film, have you?
          You have seen this film, haven't you

3. Helping verbs are always used in the tag. The helping verbs are: to be (is/am/are/was/were), to have (have/has/had), can, could, would, should, will
