After today....

I know the difference between direct and indirect (reported) speech

I can rewrite a sentence from direct to reported speech.

Slide 2 - Diapositive

Speeches one and two.

- Listen quietly and pay attention.
- Don't try to distract your classmate in front of the class and do not make them feel more uncomfortable than they already do.
- Be prepared to ask questions
- Three of you will give feedback and a grade, using the same score sheet that I use. This will actually influence their final grade so do this seriously! You will have to be able to explain your choices. I'll quickly talk you through the form.

Slide 3 - Diapositive

Who gives feedback and a grade?

- To Sophie: Minoes, Marie and Ellen

- To Kris: Dominik, Sofie and Max K.

 Reported Speech

Slide 6 - Diapositive

Direct speech:
"We are trying to pay attention!"

Indirect speech:
They said (that) they were trying to pay attention.

Slide 7 - Diapositive
