Wat zijn False Friends
Sommige Engelse woorden lijken en klinken soms op een Nederlands woord, maar betekenen toch iets heel anders. Je noemt deze woorden false friends.

Onderscheiden
Hoe herken je nou ´false friends´? Dit kan je oefenen door veel Engels te lezen. Hoe meer bekend je bent met de taal, hoe meer woorden je herkent.

Vaak staat de betekenis van het woord uitgelegd in de zin.
