  • Habits
  • Permanent Situations
  • Facts 
(also zero conditionals)
  • Time tables

  • Time clauses 
(i.e. as soon as you finish, leave the room)
  • Stative verbs (to like, love, hate, seem, smell etc. -> verbs describe a state or  relate to senses)
Present Continuous (form of to be + inf. + ing)

  • Events happening right now (watch out! now)
  • Temporary situation (also: a break from the usual)
  • Developing situations (getting, becoming, growing etc.)
