At the end of this lesson you will be able to use the past simple and the quantifiers: much/many/ a little/ a few correctly in a sentence.

Past Simple
Als iets in het verleden is gebeurd en belangrijk is wanneer het is gebeurd. 

Vaak woorden zoals: last night, this morning, five minutes ago, etc.

Regelmatige werkwoorden: hele werkwoord + ed
Onregelmatige werkwoorden: eigen vorm
Ontkennende en vragende zinnen: did/didn't + hele werkwoord

Voorbeelden:
Yesterday, I baked a delicious chocolate cake for the party.
She baked cookies for her friends over the weekend.

Countable / Uncountable
Countable : woorden die een meervouw hebben (children, cats, etc.)
Uncountable: woorden die geen meervoud hebben (water, money, salt, etc.)
Much and many: vragen (?) en ontkennende (-) zinnen
Much: veel + niet telbaar
- Much sugar - Much time
Many: veel + wel telbaar
- Many sweets - Many bags

Je gebruikt a lot of alleen bij bevestigende zinnen (+).
Example: I want to do a lot of exercises if that is possible
