Adjective = bijvoeglijk naamwoord 

Een bijvoeglijk naamwoord 

- gebruik je om iets of iemand  te omschrijven. 

-  staat vaak voor  zelfstandig naamwoord.

I think he is a terrible teacher.

Adverb = bijwoord

Een bijwoord 

-  gebruik je om aan te geven HOE iemand iets doet.

-  omschrijft vaak een werkwoord, maar ook een ander bijwoord, een bijvoeglijk naamwoord of de hele zin.

My grandparents talk incredibly loudly  (ontzettend hard)
