Goal:

At the end of this class, 

I understand the difference 

between can and could.

Can/Can't/Could

Can = Je gebruikt can om te zeggen dat iemands iets kan. Can verandert nooit van vorm. 

Can't = Je gebruikt can't om te zeggen dat iemands niet iets kan. 

Could = Om te zeggen iets zou kunnen gebruik je could.  

Vragen met can en could

• Als je wilt vragen of iemand iets kan, zet je can vooraan in de zin. De rest van de zin blijft hetzelfde. 
• For example: Can I help you? or Can you tell me the way to the bus stop? 
• Echter, het is vaak beleefder om could the gebruiken.
• For example: Could you say that again, please? or Could you tell me the way to the centre, please?
