What is a village?
A village:
  • A place where few people live.
  • Where the housing density is relatively low.
  • There are few tall buildings and there is a lot of space around the houses.
  • There is little work and few amenities.

  • Amenity = a building or space in which a useful activity or entertainment takes place.
  • Everyday amenities are those you use (almost) every day.

  • Specialised amenities are those you use less often.
