Structure of Complaint Letter

• take a position!
    - should we ban test weeks or not?
• 150 to 200 words
• formal writing (using conjunctions, 
    active voice)
• digital version (hand-in via Teams)

Conjunctions

• What are conjunctions? 
    - connect two items (linking words)
    - express relationship

Conjunctions

Different types:

1. numeration (Peter likes pizza and pasta.)
2. reason (Test weeks should be banned because they give me stress.)
3. result (I studied hard, so I think I will pass my test.)
4. contrast (I am slightly allergic to peanuts, but I eat them anyway.)
5. choice (You can either do your homework today or you can do it later.)
6. time (I like to listen to music while I cycle to school.)
7. condition (If you work hard, you will finish your homework.)
