I lived in California in 2015.

I have lived in California since 2015.

Present Perfect

Het is al afgelopen.

Vroeger begonnen, nu nog zo.

Wanneer Present Perfect? 

De present perfect wordt gebruikt om aan te geven dat iets in het verleden gebeurd is en het nu nog belangrijk of aan de gang is. Er is dus een link tussen toen en nu.

Hoe maak je de Present Perfect? 

Om de present perfect te maken gebruik je: 

have / has + past participle (voltooid deelwoord).

De past participle heeft twee vormen.

1 Regelmatig:
werkwoord + -ed.

Bijv. have/has walked

2 Onregelmatig:
3e rijtje onregelmatige ww.

Bijv. have/has seen

We gebruiken de present perfect ook om aan te geven dat iets in het verleden is begonnen en het nu nog steeds zo is.

I lived in Italy

I have lived in Italy

We feel sick because we have eaten too much.
