Wat betekent "past"?

Noem een regular verb
(regelmatig werkwoord)

Noem een irregular verb
(onregelmatig werkwoord)

Past Continuous

Als je zegt dat iets bezig was in het verleden gebruik je de past continuous. Je gebruikt dan was/were + het hele werkwoord +ing. 

Example: 

I was(n't) playing videogames all day. 

We were(n't) running late for school this morning. 

Opdracht

Zet steeds de woorden tussen de haakjes in de past continuous vorm in de zin. 

Julie __________ well yesterday. (not feel)

I ________ dinner when the doorbell rang (cook)

Jack _______ his bike when he fell down. (ride)

They __________ down the street when I saw them (walk)
