What is a monologue?

Difference between your last test (reading out) and a monologue:

1. Last test you had to read from paper, with a monologue you can too
2. last test you had to read from paper, a monologue is a speech
3. last test you had to read from paper, here you don't
4. a monologue is a conversation

Monologue in short:

It's a little speech that you do by yourself.

You talk about a topic for a set amount of time

You may use notes, but not the full story

We will be practicing next lesson.

Do a one minute monologue about a British series or tv show.

More info will come next week, but start looking at British series or tv shows. That will be (part of) your homework for next week.

Your test will be on March 18th.
