Past Simple - Regular verbs

Some spelling rules:

1. Eindigt het werkwoord op een medeklinker + -y,

dan verandert de -y in -ie: I carry - I carried

Maar let op, er verandert niets als het werkwoord eindigt op klinker + -y: I play - I played

Spelling rules:
2. Eindigt het ww op -e, dan komt er in de past simple alleen een -d
achter:
I live = I lived

3. In de past simple wordt de laatste medeklinker verdubbeld als er één klinker voor staat: I drop = I dropped

- I pass the ball to my friend = I passed the ball to my friend
