The Greenhouse Effect

Greenhouse effect (works almost similar to a greenhouse)

1. Solar rays come to earth

2. The atmosphere contains greenhouse gases (CO2, CH4, H2O)

3. The sun's rays pass through the greenhouse gases

4. Heat rays are created by absorption of the earth

5. Some heat rays pass through the atmosphere

6. Other heat rays are stopped by the greenhouse gases

   greenhouse effect (G126).

Read "Energy" at page 40, look at figure 2 and answer the goals in your notebook.
