Refuse the invitation: why?

When someone invites you and you can't or you don't want, you need to say why: EXCUSES

In Spanish there are different way you can make an excuse:

No + tener= No tengo tiempo/ No tengo dinero

Tener que + verbinfinitive= Tengo que hacer mis deberes

No + querer= No quiero

No + poder= No puedo

Refuse the invitation: why?

You can also combine the excuses:

No puedo. Tengo que hacer mis deberes de español

No puedo. No tengo dinero.

Gramática

tener = to have

tener  que + infinitive = to have to (Give you the idea of obligation)

Tengo un perro =  I have a dog

Tengo que pasear al perro =  I have to walk the dog
