The future

Present Simple -->           It starts at ten in the morning.

Present Continuous --> I am organizing a flash mob.

Be going to --> We are going to leave some rubbish near a bin.

Will + hele ww --> We will advertise the event on social media.

may/might -->  Some people may not understand.

Present Simple

Scheduled events, timetables etc.

The train leaves at eight.

Our plane arrives in half an hour.

Present Continuous

Future arrangements which have already been planned

I'm meeting Jim at the airport.        (discussed with Jim)

I am leaving tomorrow.                        (got a ticket)

We're having a staff meeting on Monday. (had an email about it)

Be going to + verb

A decision has already been made:

Julie: There's no milk.
John: I know. I'm going to buy some when this TV programme has finished.
