What steps do you take when reading a text?

Step 1

Read the text quickly for the general meaning.

Look at:

• Pictures
• Title
• Subheadings
• etc.

Step 2

Read the question, but NOT the options

Step 3

Find the part of the text that relates to the question

(the questions are in the right order.)

Step 4

Read the options and eliminate any that are clearly wrong.

Step 5

Choose the option that answers the question fully and accurately.
