*7 februari driehoeksgesprekken (ouderavond)

*10 februari inleveren definitieve PWS-werkstuk!

*Ontspanning: volleybalavond (ook op 10 februari)

*22 februari presentatieavond PWS (aankomende vrijdag uitleg)

jijenjegezondheid.nl/vo -> leerlingen die er niet waren bij het invullen van de vragenlijst krijgen een kaartje. 

Een aantal mensen moeten nog hun telefoonnummers doorgeven (standaard protocol eindexamenkandidaten)

Anderen: afspraken maken voor 20 januari (PWS): nu moet je echt vaart gaan maken.

Speaking Exam..

When you are in a different country you can easily navigate through a city  by using google maps (dan moet je mobiel niet gestolen worden uiteraard) on your phone. Sometimes you'll have to ask a passerby (voorbijganger) if the street layout is very complicated. Usually the locals know how to get somewhere quite quickly! That's why the first scenario is about getting to the metro station. 

Speaking exam

You'll get 3 scenarios 

scenario 1: Getting to the London metro

Scenario 2: 'London Eye' (reserving a ticket for the attraction)

Scenario 3: At a restaurant 

Finding your way around London

Scenario 1: 

Look carefully

in the next video you'll see an American local offering help to two tourists. They seemingly want to  know the way to a certain destination. However, they are not only interested in knowing the way to a certain place. They may have set their eyes on some valuables as well.

Which three items did the couple steal?

Vertaal: Loop rechtdoor, sla bij het kruispunt rechtsaf en steek de brug over.

Scenario 2 

*You want to get on the famous London Eye. You have a friend who is wheelchair-bound (in een rolstoel). You're going to ask for the ticket prices and the fares (ritjes). 

Vertaal: 'hoe werkt een ritje in de London Eye. Kunt u dat uitleggen?'

Scenario 3 

At a restaurant. You're going to  ask for a table and you're going to take an order from the menu  and you're going to drink something. This is a very similar scenario to the one you did last year. 

Je gaat het restaurant opbellen. vertaal: "Ik wil graag een reservering maken voor maandag 27 januari."
