What is expected of you?

1. Read the book 'The Promise'.
2. Write a summary (in class).
3. Do two assignments: one blue assignment & one green one.

1. Write a summary

• In class, you'll write a summary of the book (SO).
• You answer some questions about the book. You are allowed to bring your book to class.
• You can only do the assignment on that day, in class.
• This is 50% of your final assignment and grade. 

2. Creative assignment

Pick two activities to do: one blue assignment & one green assignment

• Each project must be neat and organised. 
• All writing should be typed.
•  You have to make connections to the book. 

What is plagiarism? (plagiaat)

- Copying text from the internet or another source.

- Copying text from someone else (a classmate, someone from another class, etc.).

- BUT ALSO: copying some words/sentences and writing the rest in your own words.

--> EVERYTHING SHOULD BE IN YOUR OWN  WORDS!

Any plagiarism will be seen and result in a 1 with fraud.
