1. Use the correct tone (formal/informal)

2. Use your tense consequently

3. Your writing: use capital letters, I, and normal language

present continuous- when it's happening right now

- I’m walking to school
- I’m taking a writing exam
present simple- when something happens often or is a habit

 past simple- when something happened and ended in the past

present perfect- when something has happened in the past and you still see the result/consequence today
