Adverb of adjective?

- Een bijvoeglijk naamwoord zegt iets over een zelfstandig naamwoord.

- Een bijwoord kan iets zeggen over een werkwoord.

- Een bijwoord kan iets zeggen over een bijvoeglijk naamwoord.

- Een bijwoord kan iets zeggen over een ander bijwoord.

Hoe maken we een adverb?

Bij een adverb komt -ly achter het woord te staan:

- beautiful > beautifully

Er zijn natuurlijk ook uitzonderingen op deze regel!

-le krijgen -ly in plaats van -le                                             adorable - adorably

medeklinker + y krijgen- ily in plaats van -y                  heavy - heavily

-ic krijgen -ally erachter                                                         automatic - automatically
