I Made a Meme this Morning

I made a meme this morning. a

I posted it online. b

I asked my mom’s permission.a

She said that it was fine. b

Then people started sharing it. a

The next thing that I knew, b

my meme had spread around the world. c

It grew, and grew, and grew! b

By lunch my meme went viral. a

It had a billion views. b

By dinnertime the TV had it c

on the evening news. b

I earned a penny, maybe two, a

from every single share, b

and, by the time I went to bed, c

I was a millionaire. b

I thought of making one more meme

that might go even higher.

But, nah, I’m nearly nine years old.

I think I’ll just retire.
