Introduction
Degrees of comparison are used to compare different qualities or characteristics of fashion items. 
They help us express whether something is more, less, or as much as another thing.

Positive Degree
Positive degree is used when we compare two similar things without emphasizing any difference. For example, 'This dress is beautiful.'

Comparative Degree
Comparative degree is used when we compare two things and emphasize the difference between them. For example, 'This dress is more beautiful than that dress.'

Superlative Degree
Superlative degree is used when we compare more than two things and express the highest degree of a quality. For example, 'This dress is the most beautiful.'

'The fashion show featured the trendiest clothes of the season. Models strutted down the runway in elegant dresses, but the most stunning outfit was the sparkling gown worn by the famous actress.'

Glen: I really like outfit A; it's the trendiest and I think it would make me the coolest guy in the room. The shirt is a bit more formal than I am used to, but the shoes make it look quite sporty. It's way cooler than the shirt in B. I would feel more comfortable wearing this outfit; to me it's the most comfortable outfit. And let's not forget about the price. This outfit is cheaper than the others. In fact, it's the cheapest. Outfit C is less suitable; I think, it's just too formal for me.
