After this lesson you know different types of quantifiers and know how/when to use them

Quantifiers = expressions of quantity 

" (a) few, (a) little, a lot of, lots of, much, many, "

(A) Few

A few betekent een paar (=some)

Few betekent weinig (=not many)

(A) few gebruik je bij telbare woorden

We need a few minutes to talk.

I have few friends.

No need to hurry. I have a few books left.

Do you have a few cookies for me?

Peter doesn't even have a few Euros left.

(A) little

A little betekent een beetje (= some)

Little betekent weinig (=not much)

A little gebruik je bij ontelbare woorden

I need a little money for tomorrow.

We have little time.

a little (een beetje)

No need to hurry. I have a little time left.

Do you have a little money for me?

Peter doesn't even have a little water left.

A lot of & lots of = veel 

A lot of	Lots of
Telbaar & ontelbaar Bevestigende zinnen (+zin) She ate a lot of chocolates. Ontkennende zin (-zin) I don't have a lot of money.	Telbaar & ontelbaar Bevestigende zinnen ( +zin) She ate lots of chocolates. Ontkennende zin (- zin) I don't have lots of money.

Much and many

Much and many betekenen allebei 'veel'
Much gebruik je voor dingen die niet telbaar zijn
Many gebruik je voor dingen die wel telbaar zijn
