Goals for today

At the end of class:

- You will have given your opinion on the given statements in English

- You will have practiced speaking English 

Instruction

Je krijgt een stelling in het Engels. Ben je het met de stelling eens? Discuss in your group/pair for 2 minutes per statement!

Green apples are better than red ones.

Statement 1

Homework should be banned. (why/why not)?

Statement 2

Phones should not be allowed in schools 

Statement 3

Pupils should not pay for books at school.

Statement 4

Practical assignments are better than (paper) tests.

Statement 5

Schools should give each pupil a free laptop

Statement 6

Pupils should no longer study with books. They should use IPads/laptops instead.

Statement 7

School uniforms should become mandatory (=verplicht)

Statement 8

School should start at 9:00 instead of 08:15

Statement 10

Pupils (leerlingen) should be more in charge of what they want to learn in school.
