Conversation

A conversation is not just about speaking. Asking questions is just as important.

 

- work in duos

- pick a topic from the topic pile

- talk about the topic for 1 minute

- make sure you also ask questions: how, who, what, when, where, why

Write an e-mail to your tutor (mentor) about your first smester at SVO. Hand in in teams at "English 07-12"

include the following:

- introduction

- write about why you chose this study

- write about your favourite aspect/experience/subject

- write about your least favourite experience/aspect/subject

- Write about what you hope is still to come/what you expect out of this course

- rounding off

- Make 3 magazines in GPS

- Start with one for listening, then one for grammar, then one for making conversation

- you can choose which ones you want to do

- let me know in the document (from last slide) which ones you've done

- I can check your GPS work online, I will give feedback on your GPS work in the document you've handed in.
