Brittany doubts whether the one from the catalogue is any good because it is so small. Brittany doesn't have any money to buy stuff from the catalogue. Ashley offers to share her babysitting money if Brittany comes along. Ashley chooses the MP3 player she wants.

Ashley explains she needs the MP3 player because the sound quality on her old one is really bad. When Brittany complains she is broke, Ashley offers to pay her for helping to babysit the next day. Ashley chooses the MP3 player she wants.

Ashley explains she can afford the MP3 player because she has made plenty of money from her babysitting job. Because Brittany can't afford anything from the Mr Gadget catalogue Ashley offers to share the money she has earned from her babysitting job. Ashley chooses the MP3 player she wants.
