How did we get the Bible?
God chose individuals and told them what to say and write.

The Bible
The Bible is true because it predicted what countries, or kingdoms would rule the world long before it actually happened. It also predicted when Jesus would be born and where he would be born hundreds of years before he was born!

Who is God?
Trinity means "the Godhead as one God in three persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit" This means that God is really three individuals that are ONE.

Is God Really There?
God created the world.
We see awesome things designed by God.
The world is built with design, pattern and order.
Truth, goodness, beauty, love must come from someone who is true, good, beautiful and loving.
People have a built-in sense of right and wrong.
Genesis 1:1
In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.
Psalms 19:11
The heavens declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of His hands.
Acts 14:15
... the living God, who made the heavens and the earth and the sea and everything in them.
1 John 4:7
Beloved, let us love one another, because love comes from God. Everyone who loves has been born of God and knows God.
Romans 2:14
Even Gentiles, who do not have God’s written law, show that they know his law when they instinctively obey it, even without having heard it.

How can we get to know God?
We can learn from the Bible

Then Jesus took them through the writings of Moses and all the prophets, explaining from all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.
Romans 1:20
For ever since the world was created, people have seen the earth and sky. Through everything God made, they can clearly see his invisible qualities—his eternal power and divine nature. So they have no excuse for not knowing God.

But when the Father sends the Advocate as my representative—that is, the Holy Spirit—he will teach you everything and will remind you of everything I have told you.

What are the characteristics of the Trinity (Godhead)?
Immortal - never born, have always existed, will never die (Psalm 90:2)
Infinite - have no limits (Revelation 1:8)
All powerful - can do anything (Matthew 19:26)
All knowing - know everything happening in the universe (Proverbs 15:3)
In charge of everything - rules the universe (Deuteronomy 10:14)
Always present - are everywhere all the time (Jeremiah 23:24)
Never changes - all three are perfect (Malachi 3:6)
Source of life - can put life into anything they chose(Genesis 2:7)

How do we know for sure that God is really three individuals?
When Jesus was baptized in the Jordan River, all three members of the Godhead were there. (Matthew 3:16-17)
Jesus gave special instructions to the disciples about baptizing new believers in Matthew 28:19.
Paul often finished his letters with the words from our memory verse. (1 Corinthians 13:14)
