- I know when to use the past simple and the present perfect

- I can use the grammar correctly in 3 exercises.

Unit 13+14 - pictionary - 2 redo per team

1. 2 teams (which I make), 2 judges 2. make a neat group/line on either side of the classroom. 4. The first one in line comes to the board and receives a piece of paper with a word on it. They draw this word and the team can call out what it is. 5. The judge has seen the word and decides when it has been guessed correctly. They write down 1 point and let the next one come forward 6. Guess as many words as possible in 2 min.

2 minutes to guess as many words as possible. Judge writes the points on a piece of paper. Make them pledge to be eerlijk en rechtvaardig. The one with the most words guessed (or done with all of them the fastest) wins the game.

Also mix in VIU words if there's not enough words. (I did)

Nobody goes twice until everyone has drawn once. If one person is taking way too long, the whole team can decide to get 1 redo (2 per team) to pick another card and try to draw that one.

Total: 10 min max

We use the past simple to: 

1. talk about an action in the past

2. when the when is important

3. experiences over time (not now)

1. (past) om te praten over iets wat er in het verleden is gebeurt en nu nog belangrijk/merkbaar/zichtbaar is. 

2. With ever/never ->  Experiences until now

3. With just/already/yet -> things you haven't done recently

4. With for/since -> started in the past and continues now

Practice test (vocab +grammar)

What: do the practice test you have received

How: do this mostly by yourself (in silence), but you can whisper for short questions to your neighbour

Time: +/- 15-20 minutes 

Done: Study the parts you had troubles with and hand it so I can check it for you (if you want, you don't have to).
