Read the writing from start to finish without stopping. Understand the story or main message.

Spot the Positives

Find at least one or two things you liked. Share these positive points with the writer.

Detail Check

Look for areas needing more explanation or examples. Suggest where details could enhance understanding.

Spot Mistakes Politely

Check for spelling and grammar errors. Use kind words when suggesting corrections.

Flow of Writing

Does the writing flow smoothly? Suggest adding paragraphs if needed.

Ask Questions

If confused, write a question to the writer. Ask for clarification where needed.

Make Suggestions

Offer ideas for improvement, like a stronger opening or fun detail to add.

Be Kind and Encouraging

Always end with something positive. Highlight what was done well.
