Gerund

I love playing video games / I don't like doing my homework

A verb becomes a noun

Can you tell me what that means? 

These are not the same!

I like watching movies.

I hate running.

I prefer walking over cycling.

These are not the same!

I am watching a movie.

I am running.

We are walking to the city centre instead of cycling.
