WOULD
I am hungry. I would eat something.
Would you be so kind to give me a duck?
I would like a slice of pizza, please.
Would like
Figyelj, hogy tipikus hiba, hogy berögzült a tanulókban a 'I would like' páros, ami azt jelenti, hogy 'szeretnék'.
DE, a would bármilyen másik igéhez is csatkazozhat ám:
I would drive = vezetnék
I would drink = innék
I would have lunch = ebédelnék

Would
WOULD
I would have some coffee … Innék egy kávét …
She would go on holiday … Elmenne nyaralni …
We would take part in this course … Részt vennénk a tanfolyamon …

2nd Conditional – unreal/imaginary present

If I won the lottery I would buy you a big house.
1. Ha megnyerem … – kijelentő mód jelen idő
Ez angolul sem volt máshogy : If I win – ugyanúgy kijelentő mód jelen időt használtunk (Present Simple)

Slide 14 - Diapositive

Many people with money worry constantly about losing that money so it can cause anxiety issues. People will want you to give them money. Many people. Lots and lots of people. If you’ve seen any of the “the lottery ruined my life” TV shows that’s one of the big issues. At least one guy even eventually killed himself because of it.

Slide 15 - Diapositive

When I was 19 I inherited some money, not even all that much, $50,000 (meaning that I wasn’t rich, it wasn’t enough that I could quit my job and retire). People, I didn’t really know, wanted me to loan them money. Relatives, I didn’t know, had came out of nowhere.
I made some enemies unfortunately because I didn’t give anyone any money. Some people that win large amounts of money spend it and wind up broke and are depressed, sometimes suicidal. People think “Oh, I could never spend $90 million but the truth is, it isn’t that difficult. If you buy a $5 million house and several expensive cars and all of the added expenses that go along with that lifestyle, it’s easier to do than people think.
